Hi everyone, well what a Christmas we have had Samuel has had a really bad chest infection he had to go in hospital just prior to Christmas for 3 days where his SATs were 88 and they said he was hyper inflating. He seemed to pick up and they allowed us home with cefelexin instead of his usual augmentin medication. Well he seemed fine for the first few days but then bang it took him down again and he's still got it so doing his physio to clear his chest off then he's throwing the rubbish up about 1 hr later. Took him back to hospital and they have upped his does of medication but 5 days in still no change. He's not eating so losing vital weight as he is all skin and bones as it is. Everyone please think of him and hopefully he will pull through this as the consultants say it's not doing his lungs much good

Dear Suzanne,
I'm so sorry it's been a tough Christmas for your family. I will be praying for Samuel, and for you.
The sicknesses and setbacks of our children seem harder to bear at this time of year, perhaps because we want them to be able to enjoy the season.
