Hello everyone,
Back in December Sara, 8 years old, had her VEPTR placed. The dr put in two rods. A few weeks later she developed infection which traveled up one of the rods. That rod had to be removed. We go on April 21st to have that rob put back in. Please keep Sara in your prayers, that she will do well with the surgery and not get an infection again. Her last surgery was a little scary.
Thank you all so much.

Oh gosh... I can understand how unsettling the upcoming surgery must be. We've dealt with infection issues here as well... I will definitely keep your daughter in my thoughts.

We also had an infection problem with our initial implant. So, we understand what you are going through. Sending lots of positive
thoughts your way!
