Hi thank you all for you kind messages. Samuel is a little better today his chest is full of rubbish and his sats remain in the 80% area his chest in its self is now only slightly dimpling and as the nurses say he's concentrating on breathing rather than eating. He has been sleeping most of the time and taking build up drinks not that they are doing much as his weight has fallen again.
Still he his improving each day so at least we are going in the right direction.

Hi suzzane, glad to hear Samuel doing a little better, will keep praying for him. I'm sure like my little one, he will keep fighting back. We've still got along journey to make ourselves with Anna but at least she's not too bad at the moment. She's had a chest infection recently but seems to be on the mend. She's not yet had her veptr yet, she's due to have a series of plaster jackets shortly to try and slow the progression down a little. This should hopefully protect her lungs a little until the op. If it doesn't work then we'll deal with that bit later. she had her last pollicisation op on her right hand (they rotated her index finger and brought it down the hand to form a thumb) about 10wks ago and we're due to have that checked in a week or so at St James', Leeds. Hope you're keeping yourself well.
Annette.
